Sandown & Shanklin Inpedendent Lifeboat have been operating a 24/7 emergency service to the local community for over 40 years!
All of our crew members, shore crew and fundraisers are volunteers and nobody gets paid for their time. We are able to operate this service thanks to your generosity.
Lifeboat Lotto
The three independent lifeboat stations who serve the waters around the Isle of Wight have joined together in a fundraising initiative to form an “Island Independent Lifeboats” Lotto.
All monies raised by our Lotto will be split equally between these three services – Ryde Inshore Rescue, Sandown & Shanklin Lifeboat and Freshwater Lifeboat.
