Man Overboard!
We were tasked alongside @rnlibembridge to a “Man Overboard” within the vicinity of St Catherine’s Lighthouse, 12 NM off of the station.
Luckily the woman had hold of mobile phone who was able to phone 999 for help. After searching at sea with Rescue Helicopter 175 as well as 163 and Yarmouth RNLI tasked, 175 had found the casualty after 2 hours in the water where she was winched and taken to hospital.
Great teamwork by all assets involved, and many thanks to Bembridge for the wake on the ride home!
